NCAA Hall of Champions
Following a fire that destroyed most of their exhibits, the NCAA Hall of Champions sought a more dynamic and engaging experience for their visitors. They were looking for a highly interactive solution that was easy to manage and would allow them to leverage all of their incredible assets.
In February 2009, The MediaStation Digital Signage platform was used in the development of 23 interactive kiosks, representing each of the 23 sports in the NCAA. The custom solution allows visitors to view multimedia, search for teams and statistics and compete in a trivia challenge.
NCAA has access to the MediaStation CMS on their local network that manages the content on each of the 23 kiosks... photos, videos, stats, teams, trivia questions, etc. Training on the MediaStation CMS for non-technical users was completed in less than 1-hour. NCAA staff now updates content and load custom presentations for special events hosted in the Hall.
